Native Wildlife Need Your Help Today!
Dear Wildlife Warrior,
Our biggest project, the Australian Wildlife Hospital, treats up to 6,000 wildlife patients each year. The cost to treat each patient varies and we rely heavily on the support of generous people just like you.
Please make a generous donation online now and with it you will be saving the lives of some of our many patients just like Bonny's Boy.
Bonny's Boy was admitted to the Australian Wildlife Hospital after being hit by a car on a main highway. Upon examination, this six year old male koala was found to be suffering from a fractured bone in his left arm, had severe swelling, facial injuries, anaemia and shock.
Bonny's Boy was operated on immediately by two of the vet staff. They secured the fracture by placing four external pins in his arm and cleaned up the rest of his wounds. The pins remained for the next three months, but not long after being removed Bonny's Boy sadly broke his arm again.
Not to be deterred by this setback, Bonny's Boy underwent another round of surgery where he had the bone fixed internally. An extensive round of physio treatment followed and more than two months later he finally walked again for the first time since his tragic accident.
Bonny’s Boy amazed Hospital staff with his resilience and determination to live. He is now at a pre-release site in order to prepare him for release back to the wild.
This story represents just one of the thousands of patients that come into care each year. Yet these survivors are the lucky ones – they found their way to a place that can help. Many others are not so fortunate.
Whether it is by motor vehicles, domestic animal attacks, deliberate cruelty or just plain ignorance, what these Australian Wildlife Hospital patients have in common is that they are all innocent victims.
Please donate now and your generosity will be helping us in many ways:
- $10 buys conjunctivitis drops for koala patients

- $30 buys milk for kangaroo joeypatients
- $50 buys anaesthetic used in life saving surgeries
- $100 buys enough food for a sea turtle for three days
- $120 covers basic surgical treatment for one special patient
- $500 repairs a broken limb and one week of rehabilitation
It is people like you that make it possible for us to care for wildlife that have no way of footing the bill themselves.
Please give generously and you will be giving our special patients the best possible chance to recover and be released back into their native habitat.
As Wildlife Warriors, together we can save one and ultimately save the species. Donate now and continue to live a little on the wild side!
Yours in conservation,
Murray Munro

Save Steve's Place
Here at Australia Zoo Wildlife Warriors, we know all about fighting to save wildlife and habitat.
The Steve Irwin Wildlife Reserve, in Queensland’s Cape York, is particularly close to our hearts, because it is home to a number of vulnerable species of wildlife and plants including:
- Spear-toothed Sharks;
- Estuarine Crocodiles;
- Palm Cockatoos;
- Spotted Cuscus; and
- Pitcher Plants.
Currently, the 135,000 hectare Reserve, which is home to the Wenlock River, is being threatened by a mining company wanting to strip mine for bauxite.
This Reserve is legacy to the Crocodile Hunter, Steve Irwin – and we need your help!
We are inviting all Wildlife Warriors to sign the petition to Save Steve’s Place.
